Consumer Financial Services
Mr. Culhane is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Ballard Spahr LLP, where he is a member of its Business and Finance Department and its Consumer Financial Services Group. He counsels prime and sub-prime lenders, doing business through traditional brick and mortar facilities and through e-commerce, on compliance with federal and state law. He also assists in the defense of class actions and attorney general proceedings challenging the marketing, pricing and other practices of prime and sub-prime lenders. Mr. Culhane is the Former Editor of the Annual Survey of Consumer Financial Services Law. He frequently speaks and writes about consumer financial services issues. Mr. Culhane is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Virginia law School.
