Mr. Budnitz has been a professor at Georgia State College of Law since 1988. He currently teaches Consumer Protection, The Law of Electronic Commerce, Sales, and Payment Systems. He was a former professor at Emory University School of Law. Mr. Budnitz also taught in the clinical legal education program at Boston University School of Law. He specializes in consumer protection, with a special interest in electronic payment systems. He has published over thirty articles on this and other topics. In addition, he has written books on credit reporting and bankruptcy. Mr. Budnitz has written two books that he updates every year, Consumer Banking and Payments Law and The Law of Lender Liability. He has served as Branch Chief at the Atlanta Regional Office of the Securities & Exchange Commission. Before beginning his career in academia, Mr. Budnitz was a legal services attorney. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School.
