Mr. McEneney’s practice focuses primarily on regulatory and legislative issues impacting financial institutions, with special emphasis on retail banking.  He advises banks, savings associations, and finance companies, trade associations and others on the full range of issues that affect day-to-day retail banking operations.  He spends much of his time concentrating on issues pertaining to e-commerce, privacy, data protection, payment systems, anti-money laundering, consumer loan and deposit products, and consumer bankruptcy. 

Mr. McEneney is a frequent speaker and writer on financial services issues and has testified before Congress on behalf of a diverse group of financial services organizations.  He was named a Nationwide Leading Lawyer in Financial Services Regulation by Chambers USA Client’s Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2007-2008).  Mr. McEneney received his B.S., cum laude, from Manhattan College in 1980 and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1986.  Prior to attending law school, he spent three years with Price Waterhouse in that firm’s New York Office.
