Richard P. Eckman retired from Troutman in 2022. He was a partner in the Wilmington office of Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP. He was a finance and transactional lawyer and chaired the firm's Financial Services Practice Group. Mr. Eckman received his J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America and his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center. He has practiced consumer financial services law for over 35 years representing financial institutions, non-depository lenders, and service providers in compliance matters, strategic transactions, government investigations and enforcement actions.
