Anne Wallace

Anne Wallace is Executive Director of the Identity Theft Assistance Corporation, a nonprofit corporation that operates the Identity Theft Assistance Center (ITAC). ITAC fights identity theft through victim assistance, research and law enforcement partnerships.

Ms. Wallace, a nationally recognized expert on privacy and financial services law, has represented clients in private practice, as corporate counsel, and with the Federal government. She began her legal career with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board where she was Assistant Director of the Division of Consumer and Community Affairs. Ms. Wallace served as legal advisor to the U. S. Treasury Department's initiative to convert the federal government's paper-based collections and disbursements to electronic funds transfers. In the late-1990's, she led the privacy consulting practice at KPMG Consulting. Ms. Wallace is a graduate of Boston University Law School and Fordham University.
