George Ginsberg has more than 30 years of experience in the consumer financial services field. During that time, he has dealt with the financing of mortgage loans, automobiles, manufactured homes, recreational vehicles, boats, time shares and home improvement transactions, among other consumer receivables. Mr. Ginsberg has provided daily advice, negotiated and drafted documents, trained legal and non-legal personnel, closed transactions and dealt with government agencies in connection with the origination, servicing and sale of such receivables. He has also lectured and published on a variety of consumer finance issues.
In the course of his work handling consumer financial services matters, Mr. Ginsberg has been closely involved with the negotiation, drafting and closing of structured finance transactions, including asset securitizations, warehouse lending arrangements and repurchase lines, working closely with credit insurers, rating agencies and investment banking houses.
Additionally, Mr. Ginsberg has experience handling other transactional work including agreements with dealers, vendors, landlords, intellectual property providers and collection agencies, among others. His broad range of experience includes everything from simple confidentiality agreements to multi-million dollar computer system purchase agreements.
Mr. Ginsberg also has several years of experience in supervising litigation and at least three years experience as a litigator.
Mr. Ginsberg earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law (Order of the Coif, Law Review member) and his B.A. from Hunter College of The City University of New York.
