Stephanie Cohen is the Senior Director MPF Policy and Legal Compliance, for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. Stephanie serves as a key risk partner to senior business leaders, and as liason between the business and the law department, providing legal and compliance advice on matters related to originating and servicing residential mortgages, including product development, various types of licensing. Her career has spanned a variety of in-house and private legal practice positions, providing legal support and advice to consumer finance companies, mortgage lenders and national banks. Some of her prior positions have included being Associate General Counsel for CitiFinancial, Inc, Associate with Reed Smith, LLP, Chief Counsel – Servicing and Administration for PNC Mortgage, a division of PNC Bank, N.A.
