Mr. Brown was the Director of the Center for Consumer Affairs, an applied research unit within the School of Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, from 1977 until his retirement from the University in 2010. In addition, he was an Associate Professor with the University. Prior to joining the University, he was a staff attorney with Milwaukee Legal Services, concentrating on consumer law matters. He also served as Associate Dean of the School of Continuing Education at UW-M. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He lectures and testifies extensively regarding payment matters and predatory lending.
